Our Mission Statement
At Little Paxton we invest in every individual and we strongly believe there is no ceiling to learning. We believe that everyone can achieve their full potential.
Irrespective of differences, we model kindness and compassion to all and teach our children to embrace diversity. Through this, and our creative and meaningful curriculum, children build self-esteem and develop courage and resilience. This enables us to grow together, removing barriers to achievement and creating high aspirations.
Children are are the heart of everything we do.
Our aims and expectations
We aim to provide a curriculum that develops our children to be curious, excited, ambitious, articulate, inspired and knowledgeable.
We promote fundamental British Values which are: democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, mutual respect for and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs and for those without faith.
Our expectations are that children are READY (to learn), RESPECTFUL (to everyone) and SAFE.

Our Head Teacher
I am extremely proud to be the Headteacher at Little Paxton Primary School. We put the children at the heart of all of our decisions and our positive relationships with children, parents and all members of our community provide firm foundations for an enjoyable and challenging learning journey for our children.
Things to celebrate about our school
I wanted to pass on how delighted I am with how my son is settling back to school this year. I want to express how happy I am with Mr Saxby and the good start my boy has had. I want to praise the leadership team for their efforts and coping with the demands of lockdown, school year start and changes on a daily basis. I think the school has been amazing.
I just wanted to say thanks all so much for the remote sessions. I feel my own children have quickly got into a routine and have engaged well. The recorded lessons have been so good especially as the children ( and parents) can refer back to them. I’m lucky in that I have a supportive employer which has allowed me to restructure my day to be more available for some of the mornings, though I do look back at the videos also. I think I speak for the majority of parents in saying, I am by no means a teacher and find it particularly useful to also refresh my own brain on much of the subject content 🙂
Many thanks fantastic team you are all wonderful and keep the children’s spirits up in these difficult times.
I should thank you and all the other members of staff for all support you are providing my son and the other students at this uncertain time.
We appreciate your hard work.
