Little Paxton proudly represented the region at the National SEND Swimming Finals after securing their place by winning the regional swimming gala. With more than 500 schools initially taking part, making it through to the final eight at the prestigious London Aquatics Centre was a remarkable achievement in itself. The team of six swimmers travelled to London full of excitement and determination, ready to compete for the national title on one of the country’s most iconic stages.
Throughout the day, the children took part in a range of events, including 25m and 10m races, as well as 25m relays. They also enjoyed a series of fun games that contributed to their overall score. After all points were tallied, Little Paxton finished in a very respectable 5th place. It was an unforgettable experience for the swimmers, who showed fantastic effort, teamwork, and school spirit from start to finish. Well done to Freddie, Darcie, Lilly, Tabitha, Paige and Calan for representing the school so brilliantly — we can’t wait to see what they achieve next!
