Little Paxton’s netball team delivered an outstanding performance at the Hunts School Sports Partnership event, showcasing skill, teamwork, and determination throughout the tournament.

In their opening match against Winhills Primary School, the team started strong, with Lottie scoring two early goals to secure a solid 2-0 victory. The momentum continued in their second game against Brampton Primary School, where Lottie dominated early on with four quick goals. Amy and Katelyn added a goal each, sealing an impressive 6-1 win for Little Paxton.

The third game against Crosshall Junior School was a tightly contested battle. Both teams defended well, keeping the score locked at 0-0 for most of the match. However, in the final moments, Amy found the net, securing a crucial 1-0 victory and ensuring Little Paxton finished top of their group with three wins from three matches.

Advancing to the 1st place playoff, Little Paxton faced a highly skilled Ermine Primary School team. Despite their best efforts, they were unable to break through Ermine’s strong defense, and the game ended 7-0 to Ermine.

Finishing the tournament as runners-up, Little Paxton’s impressive performance earned them a place in the county finals event in May. The team should be incredibly proud of their achievements, and we look forward to seeing them compete at the next level. Well done, Little Paxton!
