The Little Paxton Panthers girls football team booked their place in the semi finals of the Henson Cup with a 5-2 win over Brampton Primary School.
The first half was a goal fest with the Panthers 4-0 up at half time. Paige opened the scoring in the first few minutes. Mimi grabbed two quick goals, before Penny scored in the final stages of the half.
The second half was a much closer contest with the Brampton goalkeeper making some brilliant saves to keep the Panthers out. With 10 minutes remaining, Penny was fouled in the box and scored from the penalty spot making it 5-0. As the game came to a close, Brampton scored two fantastic goals. The girls played incredibly well and it was probably their best performance in the competition.
Well done to Paige, Penny, Mimi, Alice, Polly, Rosa, Milly, Hollie, Isla L and Summer.
